Mdm. Marie–Claire Alain

Prize-winning organist and composer Thomas Fielding, DM (b. 1975) is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs' School of Music where he studied organ with Christopher Young and Larry Smith and composition with David Dzubay and Sven-David Sandström. He has taken first prize in the national Arthur Poister (Syracuse, NY) and San Marino (CA) performance competitions, has won several national composition prizes, has also been the recipient of several full-tuition scholarship awards at IU and, as an undergraduate, won several music prizes offered by Valparaiso University. He has performed on many of the world's finest instruments including the English Cathedrals of St. Paul, London, and of Coventry, the Kathedral Basiliek St. Bavo, Haarlem, Netherlands, St. James Cathedral, Toronto, and on the famed Flentrop organ at the Adolphus-Busch Hall, Harvard University.

As an active and regularly commissioned composer, Dr. Fielding publishes with the Choristers' Guild, EC Schirmer, and Boosey & Hawkes. His works have been performed by soloists, choirs and orchestras in the United States, England, France, and Canada and have been broadcast on National Public Radio.
