Associate Minister of Music
Responsibilities include providing organ music, hymn accompaniment, and anthem accompaniment for two Sunday morning worship services, including two major works with orchestra each year, and keyboard accompaniment for one praise service. The Associate Minister of Music plans and rehearses the music for two adult handbell choirs and for two vocal choirs of junior high/high school students and of 3-5 grade students, the latter including the production of two musicals each academic year. The Associate Minister of Music also performs miscellaneous duties at the request of the Minister of Music and is present at staff meetings and worship planning team meetings and is involved in the general life of the congregation.

Organist/Assistant Director of Music
Responsibilities include providing organ music, hymn accompaniment, and anthem accompaniment for the two Sunday morning worship services. The Assistant Director of Music also plans and rehearses the music for the youth choir of junior- and high-school age students, including an annual musical (Moses and the Freedom Fanatics, The Tale of the Three Trees) and performances of large choral masterworks: Pergolesi Stabat Mater and Fauré Messe Basse.

Principal Organist
Responsible for accompanying the parish choir and for providing organ accompaniment, improvisation, and literature at various Sunday, Holy Day, and ferial Masses. After leaving regular employment at St. Charles, I have continued to provide the organ music for all parish weddings and to volunteer my services for several Saturday evening Masses each month.

This position is a full-tuition scholarship awarded by Indiana University to Master's and Doctoral degree candidates. Responsibilities include teaching the drill sections of the courses of Indiana University's undergraduate theory program. The Associate Instructors review the lecture material and help students comprehend and practice the material. Associate Instructors also grade quizzes, examz, and papers for the students within their respective drill sections.
